Panama - ideal climate, position & conditions

Panama is situated on the narrowest part of the strip of land joining North and South America between Costa Rica in the north and Columbia in the south.  Bathed by the Caribbean Sea to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south, the well known Panama canal allows shipping to flow between these two vast bodies of water.  The rainforests along the Panama canal are amongst the most accessible pristine rainforest in the world.

Organic standards are easier to maintain in the protected conditions of the National Parks.  The noni fruit grows extremely well in this climate and the workers are happy to be trained to the standards required for hygienic, organic production.

The abundance of other organic tropical fruit allows us to create our 100% pure fruit and noni Coolers.  A deliciously refreshing way to obtain some of the recommended vitamins and minerals from fruit or vegetable sources that we are advised to eat.

Panama is ideally situated geographically for both fertile production of Noni and logistically for distribution.  US investment supporting eco-tourism and encouraging production under the Agricultural Free Trade Agreement works with the Panamanian government to protect the many National Forests whilst maintaining sustainable and eco-friendly employment.

The United States investment in Panamanian agriculture and eco-tourism, $8  million plus in 2005, $5 million plus in 2006 and $3 million plus in 2007, is aimed at creating independent sustainable industries under the Agricultural Free Trade Agreement.  Sustainable rainforest cultivation and eco-tourism are designed to protect the flora and fauna of the area and also create gainful employment for those who's only other source of income might be to clear the forest to grow cocaine.
